De slang is geschikt voor temperaturen van -60 \u00b0C tot +300 \u00b0C (kortdurend zelfs tot +350 \u00b0C) &#8211; <strong>de slang moet voorzien zijn van voldoende frisse lucht (min. 50%)<\/strong>. Het voordeel van deze slang is dat hij zeer goed bestand is tegen beschadiging door mechanische invloeden, vibraties en schuren. Daarnaast bezit hij goede vacu\u00fcmeigenschappen. De buitenwand van de slang is bekleed met een hittebestendig textielweefsel met toevoeging van Kevlar. De binnenwand is bekleed met een hittebestendig ge\u00efmpregneerd glasvezelweefsel.
