Aan zowel de binnen- als de buitenkant is de slang met een hittebestendig weefsel bekleed, dat is gecoat met speciale temperatuurstabilisatoren en versterkt met roestvrijstalen vezels. Om de slang nog beter tegen beschadigingen door mechanische invloeden en vibraties te beschermen, is aan de buitenkant een stalen spiraal aangebracht. Het product wordt gebruikt in uitlaatsystemen en afzuigapparatuur.
